Making the connection is important. There are a thousand people with cameras just as good, if not better than mine. But when you make your presence known and create that understanding with the driver it makes the shoot more fun, safer, and produces better content. Don't be afraid to speak up!

Side note: We hit traffic immediately after getting on the highway so we made the best out of what we had.
